Overview
Sparrow is a mobile communication application for social interaction and direct communication. It includes user profiles, connections, real-time messaging, and audio/video calling so people can talk through text and live voice or video.
Challenge
Social communication needed more than a message thread. Users needed profiles, connections, one-to-one messaging, and real-time audio and video calling in the same mobile product.
Solution
The application was built in React Native with a Node.js and MongoDB backend. Engineering work covered profiles, user connections, real-time messaging, one-to-one communication, and audio/video calling workflows.
